PTA Committees

We are always looking for volunteers for our PTA committees. We welcome any amount of time that you can dedicate to the PTA. If you are interested in volunteering on one or more of our the PTA committees,  please email ptownpta@gmail.com with your name and committee(s) of interest in the subject line.

Please note that all PTA committee volunteers must be current Pearsontown PTA members in good standing.

Advocacy Committee – The Advocacy Committee informs our membership about education issues and PTA legislative goals and encourages and helps PTA members to become effective advocates.

Comité de Defensa – The Advocacy Committee informa a nuestros miembros sobre temas de educación y objetivos legislativos de la PTA y alienta y ayuda a los miembros de la PTA a convertirse en defensores efectivos.

Audit Committee – The Audit Committee is responsible for audits and financial reviews.

Comité de Auditoría – El Audit Committee es responsable de las auditorías y revisiones financieras.

Beautification Committee – The Beautification Committee enhances the outdoor and indoor environments at Pearsontown to improve the experiential and learning qualities for students, teachers, staff, parents, and community.

Comité de Embellecimiento – El Comité de Embellecimiento mejora los ambientes al aire libre y en interiores en Pearsontown para mejorar las cualidades experienciales y de aprendizaje para estudiantes, maestros, personal, padres y comunidad.

DEI Committee– The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee, or DEI, works to ensure every parent, child, and historically excluded group has an equitable opportunity for school-wide communication, positive academic outcomes, and the development of an inclusive educational experience.

Comité DEI– El Comité de Diversidad, Equidad e Inclusión, o DEI, trabajapara garantizar que todos los padres, niños y grupos históricamente excluidos tengan una oportunidad equitativa para la comunicación en toda la escuela, resultados académicos positivos y el desarrollo de una experiencia educativa inclusiva.

Membership & Nominating Committee– The Membership & Nominating Committee focuses on a growing and engaged membership. Throughout the year, the committee is tasked with identifying talented, motivated, and responsible individuals to serve as officers of our PTA.

Comité de Membresía  y Nominación: el Comité de Membresía y Nominación se enfoca en una  membresía creciente y comprometida.  A lo largo del año, el comité tiene la tarea de identificar a personas talentosas, motivadas y responsables para servir como oficiales de nuestra PTA.

Staff Appreciation Committee– The Staff Appreciation Committee assists with the planning and execution of staff appreciation events for our staff. Examples include monthly early release lunches, staff birthdays, first day of school breakfast, Staff Appreciation Week and more!

Comité de Apreciación del Personal– El Comité de Apreciación del Personalse compromete con la planificación y ejecución de eventos de apreciación del personal para nuestro personal. Los ejemplos incluyen almuerzos mensuales de liberación anticipada, cumpleaños del personal, primer día de desayuno escolar, Semana de Apreciación del Personal y más.

The Wellness Committee-The Wellness Committee plans, organizes and executes wellness related events and programs.

El Comité de Bienestar-El Comité de Bienestar planifica, organiza y execute eventos y programas relacionados con el bienestar.
